This was a joint charitable collaboration between a great graphic artist friend of mine (Matt Wallace) and myself to create site deserving of the wonderful and generous Melanie Woodward and all her charitable work.
Canadian Pork Council (CPC/CCP)

Created a custom CMS for posting news and events that has the ability to convert PDF to plaintext and display both when viewing news items. phpBB was customized to integrate with their admin tool, and share data across the sites. Internationalization was added to the site using UTF-8 to support the French character set.
Canadian Hog Producers
(CMS, PHP, MySql, JavaScript, CSS, xHTML, AJAX, Document Management, iCAL)
Created a private site for users of the site to get the latest updates through an email manager, and also download the latest documents through a custom document manager, along with a calendar that integrates with most desktop calendar programs through the standard iCal protocol. phpBB was customized to integrate with their admin tool, and share data across the sites. Internationalization was added to the site using UTF-8 to support the French character set.

Paradisal Imagery Inc.

A complete rewrite of the entire system to increase security around user logins, purchases, and downloading of images from the site. Added new features to the site: user profiles, purchase history, bulk image uploader, dynamic watermarking of images.

JournalAnywhere

Created a custom IPN (Instant Payment Solution) solution for "Journal Anywhere" to allow Paypal to notify the site of verified payments from users. This solution was completed in conjunction with StellarWebSolutions using their propriety code as the starting point for this solution.

Created a menu editor that reads in csv files sent in from their chain of restaurants and updates information in the database. Web interface.
DTC Forevermark

Created a program that scans for emails that have bounced so that the company doesn't continually send emails to nonexistent people.
SpyderCo

Modified an open source project for this customer. Basically it is a BB that people post pictures to. The OS project only allows 1 picture per post. I added the ability to have up to 10 pictures per post added to the code. Then created a mod file, so that the customer could sell the code as an upgrade.
TellaFriend

This company has software that does an email marketing campaign. Basically it was to upgrade the software from a flat file system to use a database (MySql) and upgrade the look and feel.

A travel company that was looking to update the look and feel of their website. Most of the pages for travel on the site are generated from XML feeds that the company purchases. I worked on creating the hotels, cruises and vacations pages. These pages were all done using DNN. Also worked on a couple pages for their intranet for the travel agents to lookup information in the new data feeds.

Nortel Networks

Wrote and maintained approxiamtely 30 web applications for the Nortel Asset Management group to track and manage over 194 thousand pieces of equipment. The software tracks the life of the equipment and notifies management and users when their hardware is due to be upgraded in the Refresh Program.
Collin Griffiths and Associates Ltd. (Grifftax)

Created a custom database solution using C++, sockets and two servers to be able to handle the registration of users over the web for the software. Developed the eCommerce side of the website to allow users to purchase Grifftax software online. Developed the internal core functionality of the taxation software using Visual C++. Worked with CCRA document specifications to create the certified electronic tax documents that users would eventually use to submit their tax information to the government.First year over 20 thousand utilized the software.
